“The strip was cool, but now it’s infinite pools…”
Situated on Sunrise Mountain, “Vegas Views” is the impressive luxury home used in the filming of Vegas Baby 2. It provided stunning views of Las Vegas and the perfect back drop for Champagne Duane and the Vegas Baby video production crew. The modern design, in it’s own gated 1.5 acre compound, overlooks the entire Vegas Valley. The award-winning property boasts a breathtaking 180 degree view of Mount Charleston, the strip, and downtown. ‘The bright lights, the skyline’ was never more appropriate than for the scenes filmed here.
“Mansion so big take a bath where the sink at…”
Filming began right before sunset, and the Vegas Valley delivered a captivating desert sky. As night would fall, ‘the bright lights’ began to steal the show as the picture-perfect panoramic scene framed the Vegas Baby action. Adding to the experience was the presence of TF-1, a national French TV channel. Their segment on lavish Vegas homes aired on October 19, 2013, and featured the making of Vegas Baby 2.

Let’s go back… to the beginning… to where it all started. Vegas Baby. The music video.
Capturing the mystique of the strip, Duane’s reflective delivery introduces you to your own aspirations. With lines like “the Trump Tower gives me hope, like, I can be on that level/ money is the root, should I just meet with the devil,” his mind goes from success to life’s guilty pleasures. The video was shot and directed by Kevin Hasenkopf. He highlights those possibilities in a dark montage that fits the monologue. He cinematically depicts the ambition of lines like “or should I just work harder/ that dream, of owning a team, maybe the Clips/ moving it to Nevada/ renaming it The Strip” with long shots of the glamorous light show.
“It [Vegas Baby] came together perfectly. It was November 2 (2012) and I was in Vegas when my cousin sent me the track. Right away I knew what to do with it. As soon as it came on, I said ‘it’s that all too familiar feeling’ and I just let what I saw fall onto the beat. By the time I left Vegas I had experienced every high, every spiral, every disappointment the song called for.”
Vegas Baby was recorded by November 5, 2012 and plans to shoot the music video were put in place soon after. On a chilly December evening in Sin City, the crew cruised down Las Vegas Blvd, performed under the Fabulous Las Vegas sign, and filmed the magic from the window of their 70th floor… room. The grace of the Bellagio Fountain meshes phenomenally with the classy sounds of Vegas Baby.
